DNA-Powered Nanotrain Builds Its Own Tracks

The molecule-sized shuttles were created by researchers in the UK. Inspired by a process in fish, the 'nanotrains' are made of proteins called kinesins and, in the lab, are able to convert artificial DNA into "tracks", which they break up after use.
